International Tie-Ups

As part of facilitating an overseas exposure to the students, DIST has initiated a tie-up with De Paul University, Chicago, USA. Currently it offers a certificate course on Public Service Organization to our selected students. Since these tie-ups bring in the foreign students to the campus, it is also an occasion for the learners to understand about different cultures and life styles in an enjoyable atmosphere.

Virtual Tech Enabled Learning Solutions ( ViTELS )

DIST Offers Satellite based virtual learning system. This is done in association with Everonn Learning Academy. This virtual classroom training is done using VSAT facilities. Different levels of courses are arranged for the students including live projects and research ventures.

Placement Cell             

All the programmes at DIST are designed for the students to be trained as highly competent professionals capable of carrying out any assignment with dead-on accuracy in the field they are concerned with. The placement department of the college is well equipped for out-sourcing placements for our professionals.  Our students had been placed in companies like Infosys, ibs, iGATE, US technologies, Cognizant, Infotec, Reliance, Zensar, CARITOR, HCL, Birlasoft, Persistent, TCS, Wipro, Sutherland, Accenture etc.

Student Counselling

Qualified counsellors give students counselling facilities in the DIST campus to assist and provide helping hands for career guidance and professional environmental challenges.

De Paul Hostel

DIST offers separate hostel facilities for gents and ladies under the guidance of Fathers and Sisters.

Canteen

A spacious canteen situated inside the College campus offers meals and snacks to students in pleasant and relaxing surroundings.

Extracurricular activities

DIST provides a range of extra curricular activities for its students so that they can excel both in the classrooms and outside it. Main activities take place in the campus are given below.

NSS

The aim of National Service Scheme (NSS) unit in the College is to develop a national consciousness among the students, and to generate social awareness among them.

Parent-Teacher Association (PTA)

It is a voluntary organization of parents and teachers with the aim of bringing parental involvement in the college and of planning programme for the welfare of the students.

De Paul Extension Services (DES)

DES is a registered Trust functioning in the campus with the purpose of initiating and coordinating various out reaching social welfare activities. DES has working association with different agencies and local self government. DES coordinates various projects & research activities in the region and conducts surveys and participatory rural appraisals (PRA) to study the problems and needs.

D'Soft Solutions

D'Soft solutions is software development and Research Centre of De Paul Educational Trust. D'Soft has long years of sound experience in software development. D'Soft Solutions has the prime objective of supplying efficient software solutions to various enterprises. The qualified and experienced personnel will provide training for operating the software and after sales service, training and enhancement.
