3. Minimum MAT score required ? -
Normally, anybody who is having a reasonable score in MAT can apply for MBA and MHRM
4. The date on which the classes will start ? -
1st June 2009 ( tentative)
5. Is it approved by AICTE ?
Yes this institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated to MG University Kottayam to conduct MBA Course | |
6. From which date will the application issue?-
From 5th Jan. 2009, the application form can be directly collected from office and can be downloaded from the college website. Our site address is www.depaul.edu.in
7. Cost of application form?-
Rs.300/- by direct or Rs.350 by post for a single course . If a candidate needs the application for both MBA and MHRM, only Rs.500/- by direct or Rs.550/- by post is required.
8. Last date of receipt of application ?-
25th January 2009.(this date is for those who had already appeared for the MAT) If the candidate who is not attending the MAT, can send their application immediately after getting their MAT score.
9. Shall I get the admission details of DIST from AIMA bulletin ?
It is clearly mentioned in AIMA bulletin dated Dec 2008, Page No.C47. MAT details :
Next exam date for MAT is on 1st Feb 2009 . The Application form for MAT is available from Bank of Baroda (Branches-TVM, Calicut, Ernakulam, Kottayam) till 10th Jan. 2009. The last date for submitting the filled-in application is on 14th January 2009. for details visit www.aima-ind.org
Another Date for MAT is on May 3rd 2009.
10. Is it possible to submit the application by registered post ? -
Yes. It is possible. But if the application is downloaded from the Website, a DD for Rs.300/-(for single course) or Rs.500/-(for both the courses) from any bank in favour of Principal, DIST, payable at Angamaly should be attached along with the filled-in application form. | |
11. Is lap top compulsory, if yes what will be the approximate amount ? does the institute provide it ?
Yes, Rs.35,000/-(approximate), the institute will make necessary arrangements depending on the requirements of the students.
12. What are the eligibility for getting admission for MBA/MHRM? –
The Eligibility for getting admission for both MBA and MHRM are same for all graduates in the stream of Arts, Commerce and Law with 50% marks and 55% mark for all other graduates in aggregate or 50% marks in the aggregate for Masters Degree Examination.
13. What are the eligibility for getting admission to SC/ST , OEC, OBC and SEBC students ?-
For SC/ST students - A pass in any degree course. For OEC students - 5% relaxation in marks For OBC students - 3% relaxation in marks For SEBC students - 3% relaxation in marks
14. What are the fees details ?-
For more details regarding fees, communicate directly with the college authorities.
15. Fees details of SC/ST Students ?
Fees for SC/ST students are same. The SC/ST Department will provide the tuition fee for their studies.

16. Does the Institute provide separate hostel facilities for boys/girls, if yes what is the hostel fee per month ?
Yes, Rs.2000/- per month (approximate)
17. Can anybody get admission, who is having low MAT score, willing to pay more amount as capitation ?
The institute should not collect the capitation amount for the admission .The Admission will be based on their MAT score , Group Discussion & interview and percentage of marks obtained in degree exam.
18. Is it possible to get admission to those who had completed their degree courses as distance education ?
Yes, it is possible, if the course is approved by MG University
19. What are the documents required for getting admission to those who completed degree courses in other universities. (reg. migration)?
Mainly two documents are required;
1. Eligibility Certificate: This certificate is issued by MG University. The applicant directly go to the University with the mark lists & certificates and collect this certificate.
2. Migration Certificate: The applicant collects the migration certificate from their last studied university.
20. Whether it is a DLP (Distance learning programme) / off campus ?
No, it is a fully residential programme.
21. Specializations in MBA ?
Mainly we are providing specialization in Marketing, Finance, System and Production, and dual specialization is compulsory. There should be a minimum of 15 students for a single combination. | |
