The Examination Cell is one of the active bodies in the college, which regularly coordinates and manages both internal and external examinations taking place in the college. Scheduling internal examinations, sorting and distributing question papers, timely evaluation and publication of consolidated mark lists, and coordinating university examinations by allocating duties and seating arrangements are ensured by the Examination Committee.

Teaching and evaluation are the two sides of a coin. The Examination Cell plays a key role in the evaluation part. The Examination Cell coordinates with Mahatma Gandhi University regarding all matters related to University examinations. Any information either received or required to be sent to the University is dealt with in the cell. The Examination Cell in DiST is headed by the Chief Superintendent of Examinations (Principal) along with supporting staff. The prime responsibility of the Examination Cell is the conduction of all examinations (both Internal and External) in a fair and systematic manner. All exams are conducted under CCTV surveillance.
